There a million things that I would love to say about Irina & Ben, but I guess what I would mostly like to say is that Irina & Ben have such a beautiful love for one another & such huge hearts for God. Everything about this day was God-inspired – Irina & Ben’s wedding photographer was stuck somewhere in Europe & I was called in to shoot this wedding just 2 days before the event. I wasn’t sure if I could prepare for the wedding in such a small amount of time or find the best locations to take photos & I was also in the middle of a fast – but I really felt pushed to go ahead & I thank God for inspiring me with some of my best photos to date – everything just worked that day, the light, the places, nature, time & I especially loved the people! I am officially in love with all Russians!

DANIELA+SAMUEL TRASH THE DRESS

Daniela & Samuel always planned on having a trash-the-dress after their wedding, but as their wedding day ended up being one of the wettest days of 2011, it was convenient that we had the trash-the-dress coming up to visit all the different locations we couldn’t on their wedding day. We had so much fun putting together this photoshoot & I am in love with the outcome! Thank you God for inspiring us with your amazing creation & the magnificence of your beauty…

DANIELA+SAMUEL WEDDING

The 27th of August, 2011, was one of the wettest days that I’ve ever had to shoot a wedding in. It rained unceasingly from morning till evening & whenever it seemed like it would end, it would suddenly rain harder yet. However, despite the rain, Daniela & Samuel were probably one of the happiest couples I’ve photographed yet – Daniela made a decision early in the day to not let the rain bother her, & as you can see – it didn’t – not one bit! We were also incredibly blessed that one of our photography locations was mostly sheltered, & so we were able to get some great shots with everyone without the rain hindering us too much. Daniela & Samuel, as well as being ridiculously good looking, your positive & optimistic selves both have my full admiration!
